This is an activewear collection I designed in Savonia UAS on my 3rd year. It's a collection for city runners and rollerbladers. During this course we were also learning about functional patternmaking and technical materials.
This collection is for women who like to explore cities in an active way. Especially rollerblading is a fun way get around. It's not an extreme sport collection, it's more like a mixture of sport and streetwear. The user can move comfortably around the city and also pop into a café or an interesting shop without feeling too sporty or unladylike.
The collection includes 5 garments and some accessories. I put together one piece of the collection: Whirl-jacket.
"Allez" is a French expression, meaning "Let's go" or "Come on". For us, it's more like a way of life. By that we mean life isn't all that serious. Or it shouldn't be. Go, if you feel like it. Slow down if you want to. Maybe you saw something interesting.
Explore, examine, experiment!

THE GARMENT I PUT TOGETHER
I designed this to be pink, with waves print, but I didn't have the chance to make a digital print. That's why I made the jacket of plain black fabric, but the material is the same.
The main material is extra stretchy softshell fabric (57% PA, 28% PES, 15% EL), and material used in armpits and sides is cotton (97% CO, 3% EL). This is to help the garment breathe during exercise and keep the user's body temperature stable.
